It Started In Thornton.
Wash Fox was born right here in the Denver metro — not in a corporate boardroom somewhere, not as part of a national chain rollout. Local ownership, local management, and a genuine stake in making this community proud.
We looked at what existed and saw the same thing everyone else did: equipment that broke down, spotty results, and a whole lot of "good enough." We decided good enough wasn't good enough.
So we built something different. A car wash where the equipment actually runs. Where the staff actually cares. Where you can drive away knowing your car is genuinely clean — not just damp.
Why A Fox?
The Fox name isn't random — it comes straight from the family behind the wash.
The Fox family has a long history of building things worth being proud of. That includes the Peter Fox Brewery in Chicago, whose signature beer was called Fox DeLuxe. If you've ever wondered why our top wash tier carries that name — now you know. It's a nod to a legacy of craftsmanship that goes back generations.
Foxes are also quick. Clever. Resourceful. They do more with less, move fast, and consistently outperform the competition — sometimes just by caring more. That felt right for us too.
Also, the mascot is undeniably great. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
