Every Wash Fox is topped with a solar array large enough to power roughly thirteen average households — quietly turning Colorado sunshine into clean cars. It's the biggest piece of our environmental story, and one of the parts we're most proud of.

Wait — Is A Car Wash Actually Better Than My Driveway?

Yes. By a lot, actually.

When you wash your car at home, all that soapy, oily runoff flows straight into storm drains and eventually into rivers and groundwater. No filter. No treatment. Just your driveway soap taking a field trip to the water supply.

At Wash Fox, our wastewater goes through treatment systems before it goes anywhere. We also recycle a significant portion of water on-site, so we use far less per wash than the average garden hose situation in your driveway.

Bottom line: washing your car with us is genuinely better for the environment than doing it yourself. We know — surprising. But true.
